With more than 23 years in global mining operations management (with Lhoist, Lafarge, CEMEX and RCC) and 14 years of service as an officer in the IDF’s SF community, Ran established a track record of pushing the performance envelope. His military and mining experience provides a wealth of out-of-the-box continuous improvement solutions. Utilizing his hands-on, military style leadership he has built and led teams in the mining industry – in West Africa, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and North America – to record cost savings and productivity achievements. Developing the Downstream Contribution Model and the Situational Awareness Generator brought about productivity improvements, cost savings and innovative solutions in mining operations.
